Pakistan Canada Association Windsor works with Canadian Government to get much needed support for Pakistan, in time of crisis.

2005 Earthquakes PCA Windsor with the help of Canadian Red Cross, Multi Cultural Council and University of Windsor raised $70,000 which was sent to Pakistan to purchase medicines and blankets.

During 2010 Floods, Pakistan Canada Association again was put on tasks to raise funds to help our families back home. We raised $35000 which turned into $70,000 for Pakistan, matched by the Canadian government.

Just last year, Pakistan Canada Association Windsor with the help of MP Irek Kusmierczyk and thru talks with Minister of Transportation Omer requested PM Justin Trudeau to provide additional funds of initial 60 million dollars commitment. The PM graciously accepted our request and have 6 million dollars with dollar for dollar matching by the Canadian Government.

Pakistan Canada Association Windsor also spend years on educating local and Canadian governments on Terrorism issues in Pakistan and Islamophobia in Canada.

Vigil were help on all large terrorist attackers including 16 Dec 2016 Army Public School that killed scores of innocent children.

Pakistan Canada Association Windsor actively works with Windsor Federal MP’s to assist in Immigration and federal issues to facilitate Pakistani diaspora in Windsor.
